My cross country goal

My goal in cross country this year was to get 4th or under and to sprint at the end
I achieved the theas goals by trying my best. I had to push my self hard. I thought I trained good by every day running harder and harder.

Maths

This term for maths we have been doing a collaborative task. This term we had to make a card which had Paterns sutch as tessellatetion ,reflecting and more. We have been doing 2D shapes and  3D objects. We had three people in our I choose to do reflection using to lines of symmetry and reflection along a line.

Here is a photo of what a tessellation design ended up looking like.

Reading

This term for reading we have been reading the "island of the blue dolphins". In this book it describes a devil fish so we had to figureout what it looked like. This is what I think it looked like.

Inquiry

This term we have been doing art. When I heard that we were doing art I felt so excited because I like art. This is my art journey.

Pride

Our value this term is pride. This term I have shown pride this term by competing in school cross country. Competing in the school cross country was very nerve raking. I got into the top 8 but I didn't go to the costal cluster because of a foot injury.

Writing

We Had to write a piece of writing and try to include onomatopoeia. I think that I have used some.
Cross country
It was Wednesday morning and I was trying to get my shoes on. Mum was driving me to Farndon Park to run in cross country. When we got to Farndon Park they put us in age groups, the 11 year olds had to run with us because there was only three of them but that didn't worry  me. The ten year old girls ran first, watching them made me even more nervous. The clappers went. Bang! They were off. Mr eales  said on the microphone “next ten year old boys”we all lined up… bang!! We sprinted off I was determined to beat max and come 3rd. My heels were killing me! Max shouted “ ha I'm betting you” that made me angry so I sprinted in front and over tock Max. “Shame” I shouted back. Now I was coming 3rd, Harvey was in front of me. I saw the finish line we all sprinted to the end a bit of luck happened, Harvey's shoelace was undone and he tripped “ burger it!” He shouted. This made me get 2nd! At the end everyone sat down for the certificates. Mrs scott said “ 1st 10 year old boys Tyler Wait, 2nd Rhys Llewellyn, 3rd Harvey O'rourke. Harvey was not happy but I was!
