Disaster
Once there was a zoo that had all types of animals in it. There was a tiger that was close to death when he was born. His mother didn't want him so the zoo keeper looked after him. His name was Stripes . Stripes was a bit lonely he had no company around him. The zoo was in New York it was a long way from home.Stripes is from Africa. The boss of the zoo decided to go on a journey to Canada. He fed him for the last time. He was sad to say goodbye. He jumped in his van but the was one problem when he fed Stripes he forgot to shut the gate and Stripes trotted out of his cage and jumped into the back of the van.The zookeeper drove in his van to the nearest airport.
He drove his van into the massive boat. It took 12 hours to get their. Finally they reached Canada. The zookeeper drove his van to the motel he was staying in. The zookeeper was unpacking his van when all a sudden Stripes jumped out.”What The heck”! The zookeeper shouted as Stripes jumped onto him. The zookeeper kept Stripes in the motel for a while. One day the zookeeper and Stripes went out to the beach they were chilling out. Stripes was on the beach and the zookeeper was reading a book. All a sudden gushing of wind just kept on blowing so hard that a page out of the zookeeper book was ripped out.
Suddenly a huge wave raised up. The water was so murky.Woosh!!The water slammed onto the ground. Stripes was wiped out he was forced into a tree by the huge wave. The zookeeper was smashed into a building and broke his shoulder. The wave crashed through the town taking down anything in it’s path it crashed through houses. Twenty minutes past. The whole town was destroyed. People were rush to hospital but the problem was the hospital had lost all the things that they use to fix the people with. The zookeeper sadly died.
Stripes got up badly hurt. He was limping through the street when he heard a noise he limped closer and closer until he found a person stuck under a rock. Stripes looked at him for a while. Finally tipped the rock off the person's leg and ran off and lived on the streets.

Writing term 3
WALT: use a short Vowel sound.
Here is my recount.
It was my turn to go flying off a steep bank. I lept into the air I had a soft landing in the sand at the bottom. I raced back up the bank to jump again. I pounced off the bank and landed soft at the bottom. The sand was so soft so I decided to make a sandcastle. When it was finished I covered it in lots of Beautiful shells big and small then I dug a little hole around it and filled it with water.
Then. I put a big wall around it made out of shells. Then my uncle Shawn shouted out “who wants to play rugby”me! All off my cousins were split into teams. I have 25 cousins. We all lined up. Shawn kicked the ball high in the air
and I chased after it. I ran so fast then I dummied it and then passed to Jacob he ran straight but he got tackled. He got the ball back to me and I scored.
We all sat down and ate lunch. I dived into the freezing cold ocean and smashed around in the waves. I could here the waves crashing on the sand. I played in the waves for hours it was so fun. It was now time to do the long journey home through the forest and through the farm and to the home. “ here we go” I complained. We ran in gum boots up very steep hills.
I was so puffed out but I get on going. It took us half an hour to get all the way up there we got half way up when vrommmmm! There was too Utes coming down the track.yay! I shouted we don't have to walk any more we can get picked up in the back of the utes. The too utes struggle to get up the steep hills but we got there. Finally we were home.

The duck decided that he needed jandals so he went for a walk to find some stuff that people had left there and he did find some jandals? Even though he found the jandals he kept on walking until he found a key. On the key it had a tag.had letters and numbers on it . It said R1149.Jeff-jeff knew what he had to do he had to find the owner of this key . So he waddled around asking people if it was their key. Jeff-jeff waddle for hours until he couldn't waddle any more so he went home and went to bed.the next morning Jeff-jeff went to look for the owner of this key again but this time he went down another street. It was more waste of time so he went to bed.he woke up the next morning and...kept going but this time he had more luck.
