A tanka poem is a poem that has 5 lines the first line must have 5 syllables the second must have 7 syllables the third line must have 5 syllables and the last two lines must have 7 syllables.

Swim in the river.

Play in the hot sandy beach.

I love to go camping.

Reading a book in the sand.

I love to feel the nice grass.
